Aunty Rona (Lab drama 6)

 Corona, Corona, Corona, Which country got corona first? We all know the answer! Now imagine being an international student in that country, one would imagine the language barrier would be the greatest challenge of all, but can you imagine walking into a shop and everyone suddenly wears a mask? Do you imagine walking on a path and people having to move far away from you? Let me tell you why, My skin, my skin color betrays me even before the language barrier comes to play. I don’t know whether people of my skin color are the ones with corona or what! To be honest, nothing pisses me off like that behavior. Shouldn’t I be the one running away from you because I don’t know, you’re the people who started the virus or something? Nothing pisses me off like having to stand at one corner because I  don’t have their countries id and I can’t scan some of the codes they require, nothing makes me feel awful than being discriminated against in a place that you’re supposed to call home when you’re far away from home. Hahaha, let me laugh it off. Cause I have to get used to it. People keep asking how come Africans/ foreigners don’t get corona here, well, you now know the answer, the ones with corona are keeping a distance, they are breaking their necks trynna run away from us because they think we are the ones with the virus.
