Dear Oluwatoyosi,

 I remember several times entering the office and finding it empty and wondering where everyone was... Only to find later that they had gone to conferences/workshops... Apparently these conferences they went to are part of the basic requirements for fulfilling the graduation requirements. And of course there is a threshold to meet... Guess what...no one is going to tell you that....you should always keep up to date as a graduate student. Pay attention to every little detail around you. So that you do not miss out on something that is really important for your degree.
